We came up with the idea of bringing the film title to life through the skinhead skin-pricking tattoo aesthetic - concurrently representing a key scene of the film. Using special effects make-ups, and assisted by a stick-and-poke tattoo veteran, we crafted a raw, freshly punctured looking old school design oozing ink directly on skin - photographed as a single image. The powder photography look was designed to feature the Pegasus running footwear flying past, making the bright lettering break, shatter and explode in its wake through its tremendous speed.&nbsp;Based on Futura Extra Bold Condensed Oblique, the lettering was opened to follow the lines of the shoe, and a selection of dynamic powder shots were put together into the composition, featuring swirls, dust and particles kicking up behind and in front of the shoe with depth &amp; natural movement. CANNABIS Drug driving is a growing problem on Britain’s roads. Statistics show that most drug drivers have a nonchalant attitude to the dangers they pose and do not believe that their driving is impaired, nor that they can be caught. The task of this campaign was to make them take this risky behaviour seriously with an incontestable fact: drugs have an involuntary effect on the eyes that the police can test for. ‘Your eyes will give you away’ became the central premise of this campaign. Part of a THINK! drug driving awareness campaign, this project was a work of infinite patience &amp; meticulous detailing.&nbsp;Using a dramatic &amp; detailed eye photograph as the hero, we were tasked to create the wide open eye of a cannabis user, with a hyper realistic visual quality. The most noticeable effect of smoking marijuana is corneal vasodilation, causing the famous "red eyes", with the blood vessels expanding &amp; particularly prominent. Using photographic elements &amp; code-based processing techniques, we generated organic looking vessels to delicately craft one by one our "cannabis" typography tying in naturally with the anatomical features of our shot. This campaign was about the devastating impact of verbal &amp; physical violence, the reality of too many children’s lives. The ISPCC shield is about protect them from every punch, kick, scream or ugly whisper that makes them believe they’re not worth fighting for. Following the huge success of the “Love Mondays” fluffy Pomeranians typography we created for Reed, we were commissioned to bring to life a new take on the headline to commemorate the Queen’s Jubilee using corgis - the late Lizzie II’s favorite dogs - and integrating the St. Edwards crown jewels she wore for her coronation. The red painted stroke treatment was designed as an urgent symbol for positive change - proud, purposeful, provocative, powerful and inspired by the language of protest. Paired with black &amp; white visuals, it's used as strong graphic statements making interventions, highlighting issues or taking a stance. It's a representation of the charity's role in making a difference to people who need them the most. The uppercase brush font we developed is called ACTIVIST, based on Barlow Condensed. Each item was hand painted, photographed then digitised - full of beautiful and dynamic touches. The set comprises 109 characters with built-in contextual alternates in a True Type font format, with a whopping 10K vector points per, which preserved the integrity of the physical brush stroke, thus providing an incredible level of detail.
