Transmedia narrative, or multi-platform storytelling, is the technique of telling a single story or its experience across multiple platforms and formats using current digital technologies and engaging content. This feature was about breaking traditional television boundaries, reimagining and reshaping home entertainment.

For this cover illustration, the idea was to create a modern version of the classic transmitter sitting at the forefront of the world. Approached digitally, the typography had to be a fresh, modern take on a retro style: bold, angular, emulating 3D in a graphic way. It had to convey a “bringing you the world tomorrow!” and “the world at your fingertips!” ethos, said in an enthusiastic 60's radio American voice. Zap-zap!
