This cover story was about why the burgeoning European startup scene is poised to lead the technological revolution, and more likely than ever to bring up the next global giants. With tech hubs thriving across the continent, and huge amounts of investments flowing an ecosystem is being built.

The commission was a fun one: a creative collaboration orchestrated by Wired to design an illustration fashioned like a banknote. Mixing typography, numbers, motifs, holograms & Europe iconography to represent the economical growth of zone. We were brought on board to handle all things typographic & the embellished patterns, while the illustrative elements were approached with an etching style by a specialist graphic artist.
