Swirly lettering we created for a WIRED story about the incredibly tragic west african ebola virus epidemic. This headline was brought to life with a special macro-photography treatment sculpted by hand as small scale models. The idea was to reproduce the look and feel of live, deadly ebola virus as seen through a 3D digital microscope, based on real life lab references - featuring tons of spooky organic squiggles, textures, depth & movement.
