Proud of this very special commission: a brand new design for Jonathan Demme’s iconing movie The Silence of the Lambs, in collaboration with Criterion Collection. The gripping horror classic & cultural touchstone kicked off in style, with a new look, 4K restoration, 38 minutes of deleted scenes & lots of awesome special features. Fans, get yourself a nice Chianti.

The creative concept for this glorious remake was to take the death's head moth from the original poster and render it as a violently splattered rorschach ink blot test. Hundreads of iterations were produced to obtain our perfect hero piece, captured fresh & wet photographically as a single unretouched piece. We created a series of dark tactile visuals to complement the artwork all the way through the booklet & disks. For the title, we had a play with skinny serif lettering, accentuating ascenders to emulate a sharp cutting motion.
