This fun photo-illustration brief was to recreate the tedious process of making a curry at home from scratch - in comparaison to the simplicity of using Patak’s ready-made sauces. We approached the rather extensive body copy describing each recipe in a visual storytelling way, using various fonts to give the artwork rythm, convey complexity and the feel of real-life action of the recipe making. Playing with the full list of ingredients, we approached each component as evocative designs & treatments tweezers in hand through styling, model making & photography. No sneezing allowed.
