We were commissioned by ATO Records to handle the creative direction & design for the album packaging of Southport English indie rock band GOMEZ. Working closely with the musicians, we imagined the type literally letting go, based on their title lyrics "Whatever's On Your Mind - Just Let Go". We handcrafted our big wooden lettering, carefully assembled & weighted each word, then captured at the magic moment - impacting with the surface of a paint pool at high speed with each shot generating a raw, unique & beautiful splash full of energy & gorgeous details.
