We were commissioned to create a Class A drug-based photographic opener to illustrate a story about the DEA and drug cartels in Mexico. The creative direction was quite literal: a tactile, contrasting headline with some bold typography filling the whole space, using the cocaine lines to break it up, chipping into it & connecting parts of our headline dyniamically.
